Ngày 01/6/2016, Trung tâm Giao lưu Văn hóa Nhật Bản tại Việt Nam phối hợp với Trường Đại học Hải Phòng tổ chức buổi giao lưu trải nghiệm văn hóa Nhật Bản qua nghệ thuật cắm hoa Ikebana cho sinh viên học tiếng Nhật tại Trường.Ikebana là phong cách cắm hoa độc đáo chỉ có riêng ở Nhật Bản, là nét văn hóa truyền thống đặc sắc của đất nước mặt trời mọc. Nghệ thuật Ikebana thể hiện sự tôn trọng đối với thiên nhiên qua việc sử dụng những đường nét tự nhiên của cây cỏ, sự kết hợp tinh tế giữa hoa, lá, cành.Tham dự buổi giao lưu, sinh viên có cơ hội tuyệt vời để thực hành Tiếng Nhật với người bản xứ, được tìm hiểu về lịch sử cũng như văn hóa của nghệ thuật cắm hoa Ikebana. Ngoài ra, sau khi xem nghệ nhân Nagai Yuyo – Cố vấn cấp cao Hiệp hội đào tạo cắm hoa Sogetsu Nhật Bản giới thiệu một số kiểu cắm hoa, các bạn sinh viên cùng nhau thực hành cắm hoa theo phong cách Nhật Bản.Buổi giao lưu không chỉ giới thiệu nét đẹp truyền thống văn hóa Nhật Bản mà còn khơi gợi hứng thú, niềm say mê học hỏi, khám phá về đất nước và con người Nhật Bản. Buổi giao lưu chứa đựng tính nhân văn sâu sắc, góp phần thúc đẩy mối quan hệ hợp tác hữu nghĩ giữa Việt Nam và Nhật Bản nói chung, giữa Trung tâm Giao lưu Văn hóa Nhật Bản tại Việt Nam và Trường Đại học Hải Phòng nói riêng.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Experiencing Japanese Culture through Ikebana – the Japanese Flower Arrangement at Haiphong UniversityOn June 1^st 2016, the Japan Foundation for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam cooperated with Haiphong University in holding a Japanese cultural exchange day for students studying Japanese language at Haiphong University through the art of Ikebana Flower Arrangement.Ikebana is the Unique Japanese Flower Arrangement Art, the special traditional culture of this sunrise country. Ikebana art shows respect for nature through the subtle arrangement of the natural beauty of flowers, leaves and twigs.Joining the event, students had a wonderful opportunity to practice Japanese with native people, to learn about history as well as culture of Ikebana Flower Arrangement. Besides, after viewing Ms. Nagai Yuyo - Senior Instructor for the Sogetsu Flower Arrangement Association in Japan demonstrating some flower arrangements, students had a chance to practice under her instruction.The event not only introduced the beauty of Japanese traditional culture, but also evoked excitement, passion for learning and discovery of the people and country of Japan. Moreover, it contained profound humanity and contributed to promoting friendship and  collaboration between Vietnam and Japan in general as well as between the Japan Foundation for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam and Haiphong University in particular.
